Talks by Dr. Jan Schneider as part of the Research Series at the Higher Polytechnic School, University Autónoma of Madrid

During April 2025, Dr. Jan Schneider, senior researcher and developer for EduCS at DIPF (Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education), visited the Autonomous University of Madrid (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, UAM) invited by the GHIA research group from EPS-UAM (Escuela Politécnica Superior). He presented two talks: “Mastering the Stage: A Computer Science Hands-On Guide to Public Speaking” (Dominando el Escenario: Una Guía Práctica de Oratoria en Ciencias de la Computación) on April 8, 2025, and “Multimodal Learning Experiences for Deliberate Practice” (Experiencias de Aprendizaje Multimodal para la Práctica Deliberada) on April 9, 2025. Both talks were part of the Research Series at the Higher Polytechnic School, UAM.
